Dressed in black as dark as night,
mane as white as gleaming light.
She's the calm that breaks a strom,
melts starless skies with her warmth.
She rides the night in a slice of moon,
when darkness sings the silent tune.
Lures the sea to soar up high,
sprinkles stars for the unlit sky.
The Moon and stars sail by her side,
thirsty trees reach out for her light.
The daughter of night, mother of tides,
she is a goddess, the Moon's bride.
